Shrimp ceviche

Shrimp ceviche

  • Servings: two portions

Prep time: 30 minutes


 ·       ½ red onion chopped into thin strips. 

 ·       ¼ green bell pepper.                                                                           ·    Juice of five lemons.                                                                               ·  2 tablespoons of tomato sauce.                                               ·       One tomato chopped into small squares.                                         ·      One  spoon of mustard.                                                                       ·       ½ pound of peeled and cooked shrimp.                                           ·     One teaspoon of cilantro.                                                           ·       Salt and pepper to taste.


 ·       Wash the onion and add a little salt. Put to rest.

·   One tomato chopped into small squares ·   Mix all the ingredients in a good-sized bowl, add the shrimp and cilantro, and let them stand in the refrigerator for about an hour.    ·    To finish, season with salt and

pepper to taste.




 ·       Add a little of the broth where the

shrimp was cooked for an extra touch of flavor.

 ·  Serve with chifles, patacones,

roasted corn, or avocado
